Please Support Thu Thi Nguyen in the Walk to Defeat ALS.

Dear Family and Friends,
Since my mom-Thu Nguyen's diagnose with ALS July of last year, her progress is pretty fast. She is on tube feeding since February, and using BiPAP, cough assist machine since last month. Her speech is losing rapidly, she has to use a speech device to communicate.
We, her family and friends are supporting her as much as we can.
My mom really wants to help raise awareness about this terrible disease. She will join us in ALS walk in Los Altos this coming September 13.
Please dust off your walking shoes! I am writing today to invite you to support a very important and exciting event, The ALS Association Greater Bay Area Chapter's Walk to Defeat ALS.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a fatal neuromuscular disease that can strike anyone without warning. Every 90 minutes someone in this country will be diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes someone will lose their battle against this devastating disease.
